One Step At A Time

Not everyone has attended a wedding, let alone been involved in the wedding planning process. So, I completely understand that it can be quite overwhelming.

The Booking Process

1. Getting in touch

Most couples will get in touch with their photographer of choice up to 2 years in advance. Safe to say we get booked up quite quickly. As soon as you know your wedding date and venue, get in touch to check my availability.

02. Consultation

It's always my priority to get to know my couple and hear about your wedding plans.

A consultation is a great opportunity to discuss your plans and to ask me as many questions as you want, to make sure were a great fit. If we both agree, well move onto the next stage.

03. Contract & Deposit

The fun stuff...

If you'd like to go ahead, I will send across the contract for you both to read and sign, along with any other information you need.

It's completely up to you if you'd like another meeting to talk through everything or if you'd like to sign and send the deposit straight away.

After signing and paying the deposit you can now cross "find a Photographer" off your list!

04. Count down

It always feels like the longest wait from signing the contract, to your wedding day.

I'm always just a message away, so if you need any help just let me know.

If you've booked an engagement shoot, this is the time we will schedule it. Engagement shoots are a great way to feel more comfortable in front of the camera - if you're feeling a bit nervous.

05. A few days before

A few days before the big day, I will check in with you both. Just to make sure if there's any last minute changes or added details that I need to know about.

06. Wedding Day

TODAY'S THE DAY!

I will arrive at the agreed time and make sure I say hi to you both before starting the day.

There's no need to stress. My job is to capture all the memories whilst you enjoy them in the moment. You've done all the hard stuff so the only thing left to do is enjoy the day!

Wedding day

What to expect the schedule to be like on your wedding day

This is just a guide of what a wedding day schedule typically looks like. It goes without saying that everyones day will look slightly different, depending on your wedding plans.

1. Morning

I will capture all the detail shots, including: Makeup shots, dresses, suits, shoes etc

Everyones morning preparation is different - some want gifts exchanges captured, some want first looks with dads, grandads or even between the couple. What ever your morning looks like I'll be there to document it.

2. Ceremony

I will capture everyone walking down the isle, saying your vows, exchanging rings, sharing your first kiss and signing the register.

Most will consider this to be the most nerve racking part, but as soon as you see your person at the alter, all your worries will fade away, I promise.

3. Afternoon

Usually, after the ceremony, we will go straight into the big group shot with all your guests.

We will then work through the list of formals, couple shots and confetti photos. Of course the order of these may change depending on the venue's schedule or weather for example.

Following this we will go straight into the speeches/wedding breakfast.

4. Evening

After food, depending on the time, I normally take the bridal party to have some more fun photos. I will also "work the room" to capture evening guests and anyone who wants more photos.

Typically the evening will start with the cake cut, then the first dance and then partying the night away.
